Check Out Sesame Street’s Parody Video of ‘Les Miserables’

The beloved children’s TV show, Sesame Street have released Les Mousserables, which sees the Cookie Monster don the costume of Jean Bon-Bon. He is described as “a French guy who was very sad because he had no cookies”

The lesson of the tweaked musical is to teach children about sharing. The popular Les Mis songs “I Dreamed a Dream” “On My Own” and “One Day More” all receiving a Sesame Street makeover to make them a little more child friendly and food related…

The video was uploaded on the show’s YouTube channel two days ago and has already had 163,609 views. The show has been running since 1969 and is clearly just as in touch with kids nowadays as it was back then. The show have also released a parody of Dr No and The Princess and the Elephant, starring Natalie Portman, the video has been watched more than 7 million times. Life of Whoopie Pie and Lord of the Crumbs are also parody videos made by Sesame Street.
