Dawn of the Planet of the Apes has just got a brand new teaser trailer which can be seen below. The trailer gives a great lead up to the film as we see the preparations for war and have some brilliant shots of Caesar to build the tension.
Twentieth Century Fox released the clip, from the latest installment of the Planet of the Apes franchise, earlier this week. The franchise has been running since 1963 when the first film was released and since then we have seen the release of 7 films already, as well as two TV series and the comics, with this film adding to those numbers.
This installment sees a growing nation of genetically evolved apes, led by Caesar, threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species. Starring Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smith-McPhee, Enrique Murciano and Kirk Acevedo who are lead by director Matt Reeves.
