As the release comes closer – is October 3rd only a few weeks away now – Gone Girl has upped their advertisements online and on TV.  And here is another new one, this time focusing more on the marriage between characters played by Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike, and then everything going on Affleck’s character (also watch for appearances with Tyler Perry and Neil Patrick Harris).

The premise, courtesy of 20th Century Fox: “On the occasion of his fifth wedding anniversary, Nick Dunne reports that his wife, Amy, has gone missing. Under pressure from the police and a growing media frenzy, Nick’s portrait of a blissful union begins to crumble. Soon his lies, deceits and strange behavior have everyone asking the same dark question: Did Nick Dunne kill his wife?”

The film comes from the book by Gillian Flynn, which has been a worldwide bestseller, and by Academy award nominated director David Fincher (The Social Network, Se7en).  Excited?  Hope it stays close to (or strays from) the source?  Let us know in the comments and/or on Twitter @
