Harry Potter Theme Park Expansion Gets Opening Date!

The hugely anticipated expansion of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal’s Orlando Resort now has its grand opening date! Muggles, Witches, and Wizards, mark your calendars for July 8th, which is the date the Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Diagon Alley will open its gates to the public.
Focus Film will be at the grand opening of the new park, which is set to leave guests stunned with the detail and planning that has gone into the creation of this new park. Guests will be able to enjoy two new attractions, the Hogwarts Express train ride, which takes you between Hogsmede station and the Diagon Alley area, and Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts.
There is a multitude of new shops to enjoy too, with new main features including The Leaky Cauldron, Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour and Gregorovich’s wand shop. The expansion is a Harry Potter fan’s dream come true, so get yourself to Gringotts to withdraw your travel money now because you’re not going to want to miss the most exciting place to be this summer!
