Is Character Dick Grayson Set to Make An Appearance in ‘Batman vs. Superman’?

When talking about the inevitably epic Batman vs. Superman movie, a lot of debate surrounded who would take on the famous role of Robin. Any readers who have watched The Dark Knight Rises would automatically think Joseph Gordon-Levitt right? Well, at first rumours were strife that Levitt would be snatching this particular role, however there was a lot of mystery and eventually sources started telling us that this wouldn’t be the case. Eventually, we discovered after viewing the movie that he would be Robin, just not the Robin.

Now, there are fresh rumblings within the Batman / Superman universe thanks to Latino-Review as they are claiming that Dick Grayson will be making an appearance in the movie, with a young John Hawkes’ type being sought out for the movie. In the report he says that ‘they’re looking for a younger version of him [John Hawkes] and there have been some names that have auditioned for this “young John Hawkes” role, which I’m told is Dick Grayson.’

In the report, El Mayimbe from Latino Review also revealed: ‘According to a very trusted source, the rumour is that Dick Grayson (aka Nightwing) is going to be in the movie. The reason I say rumour is that for the last couple of weeks I’ve been trying to get the scoop confirmed, but because of the ultra-secrecy surrounding the project, it’s been almost impossible.’

Readers of the comics will know that Dick Grayson becomes Robin, and then Nightwing later on.
