It’s only six months away until the next Hunger Games movie is released, Mockingjay: Part 1, and while there aren’t any signs of a trailer yet the fine people at Lions Gate have released some new images from the film.  Also there is a video with newcomer Julianne Moore talking about what audiences can expect from the latest film and the appeal of the series.  All of this was released on thehungergamesexclusive.com - there was even script pages revealed to show the process of adaptation from book to screen.

“In the larger scope it’s about ‘what is our political system and how do we arrive at that?” Moore said about part of the appeal of the books.  “I read all the books and thought, ‘I wanna be in them!’  And clearly, President Coin was the only character I could play,” she added about coming to the books and seeing that Coin would be perfect for her.

Among the images are Moore as Coin; Harrelson as Haymitch (with a new hair-do and hat!); Jeffrey Wright as Beetee.

Also, there’s even something kinda cool:

This is pretty cool unto itself, just a simple but startling MOV of the mockingjay catching on fire (no pun intended).
