‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ Cast Burn Through Berlin & Madrid
This week the Catching Fire cast have been touring Europe as they complete their premiere rounds. Kicking off in London on Monday the 11th, where Focus Film was on scene to cover the event. Check back to watch our exclusive interviews with the cast, which we will be posting as soon as possible. Then the cast moved on to Berlin, Madrid, Rome and Paris. With so much is happening with Catching Fire promotion and coverage, we will be posting several articles on their press tour. All of these are accessible via the ‘hot news’ section at the top of the page. This article will cover the Berlin premiere on November 12th and the Madrid premiere on November 13th.
Berlin hosted the premiere at the Sony Centre, which was attended by Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and Elizabeth Banks. Jennifer stunned in a Dior look again, this time sporting a pale blue cotton embroidered and printed guipure coat, and Elizabeth shone in her fitted Elie Saab silver metallic gown. Director Francis Lawrence and producer Nina Jacobson also walked the red carpet. Check out all the looks from the night in the gallery below.
The Madrid Premiere was then held at Callao Square in the Spanish capital. This time, attending stars included Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and Francis Lawrence, who were also joined by Meta Golding who plays Enobaria. For the third night in a row, Jennifer wore Dior – this time in a strapless navy blue dress with sheer detail to the bottom. The dress caused her some bother, with her tripping over her dress whilst walking the carpet. Looks like we were very close to having a repeat of the Oscars! The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is the second film in The Hunger Games series, based on the young adult novels by Suzanne Collins. Check out our review of the second film here. The film will be released worldwide on November 21st.
