New ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ Extended Look Trailer Starring Chris Pratt, Bradley Cooper
Another trailer has hit for Guardians of the Galaxy, with the formation of part of a plan, explosions, more Rocket Raccoon and Groot and a brief glimpse of Michael Rooker as Yondu. Yet another classic 1970s tune joins the surge in popularity of Blue Swede’s ‘Hooked On A Feeling’ in the first trailer, with ‘Cherry Bomb’ by The Runaways.
Expanding the Marvel Cinematic Universe further in to space, Chris Pratt brings more Indiana Jones/Han Solo vibes as Peter Quill/Star-lord. The star-hopping rogue steals an orb which is coveted by villain, Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace). Joined in prison in the far reaches of the galaxy by a rag-tag group of criminals including Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista), Groot (voiced by Vin Diesel) and Rocket Raccon (voiced by Bradley Cooper), they soon learn the gravity of the situation and the true power of the orb and group together to save the galaxy. The cast is rounded out with Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, John C. Reily, Glenn Close and Benicio del Toro.
Guardians of the Galaxy is released July 31 in the UK and August 1 stateside, in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D.
