‘Insidious: Chapter 3′ Gets 2015 Release Date

After grossing $148.9 million worldwide with the sequel Insidious: Chapter 2 this year, Peter Schlessel has decided to bring a second sequel to horror flick Insidious to the big screen.

The film will hit cinemas in April 2015, and no cast is confirmed as of yet. Leigh Whannell is returning to write the script for the movie, after also scribing the first and second in the series. No director has currently been confirmed either, with James Wan who helmed the first two flicks, currently working on Fast and Furious 7.

Jason Blum will produce Chapter 3 for Blumhouse Productions. Peter Schlessel, Lia Buman, Steven Schneider, Brian Kavanaugh Jones and Xavier Marchand are exec producing.
