Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels have tweeted two new teaser posters for their long-awaited sequel to their 1994 comedy hit Dumb and Dumber.
The sequel, Dumb and Dumber To, has been in discussion for many years, but Jim Carrey’s busy schedule has always moved production back. Now, 20 years after the original, the sequel has arrived.
Both teaser posters show the famous bright orange and bright blue tuxedos worn by Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels characters, Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dune, in the original film.

Twenty years after the original comedy, which grossed $250 million worldwide, we see Lloyd and Harry take a road trip to find Harry’s long lost daughter.
Dumb and Dumber To is due to include a cameo from Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence, playing an ex-girlfriend of Harry’s, with Kathleen Turner playing the same character older.
The original film was written, produced and directed by brothers Peter and Bobby Farrelly, who are taking on the same duties in the sequel.
Warner Bros. were due to distribute the film, but after dropping out in 2013, Universal Pictures picked up the project, whilst Red Granite Pictures financed the film with a budget of $35 million.
Dumb and Dumber To is due to be released in the UK on 19th December 2014.
