Doc Brown Has Cameo In Latest Seth MacFarlane Comedy

A Million Ways to Die in the West, the latest comedy film from Family Guy and Ted creator Seth MacFarlane, has a certain amount of famous faces amongst the cast and the cameos.

For those of you who are fans of the Back to the Future film series, you may be interested to hear that Christopher Lloyd, who plays Doctor Emmett ‘Doc’ Brown in the film series, has a cameo.

As you may remember, in Back to the Future Part III, Marty McFly travels back to 1885 to rescue Doc Brown from his impending death at the hands of Biff Tannen’s great-grandfather, Buford ‘Mad Dog’ Tannen.

The latest TV spot for A Million Ways to Die in the West includes a brief clip showing Seth MacFarlane’s character, Albert Stark, walking in on Christopher Lloyd, as Doc Brown, covering up the famous DeLorean in his laboratory.

After the TV spot was released, Seth MacFarlane  ‘Well, since the cat’s outta the bag…’ along with the above photo of himself and Christopher Lloyd on set.

A Million Ways to Die in the West has been written, produced, directed and also stars Seth MacFarlane.

MacFarlane plays sheep farmer Albert Stark, who loses his girlfriend Louise, played by Amanda Seyfried. With the help of Anna Leatherwood, played by Charlize Theron, she tries to help Albert build up his courage, amongst the dangers of the old west.

The film also features cameos from Ewan McGregor, Bill Maher, Jamie Foxx and Ryan Reynolds.

Although the reviews for A Million Ways to Die in the West have been mostly mixed, perhaps this, or any of the other famous cameos in the film, is enough to bring more people to the box office to catch this western comedy.
