A brand spanking new trailer for Disney’s upcoming animated film, Big Hero 6 (technically the first adaptation of Marvel by their parent company as well), hit the web today.

The new trailer gives us a better look at that big white puffy dude and the kid, Baymax and Hero, and the first half is at a police station where an unimpressed cop listens to an excited kid going on about a man coming after them in a “Kabuki mask” and Baymax continually losing air and using scotch tape to plug himself up.  Clearly, Disney wants something as cute as humanly possible (outside of Totoro of course).

The trailer seems to promise some fun action and peril and the usual comedy (i.e. hearing Baymax instead of Hiro on the opposite side of a room), and if you don’t believe me look at it below.

The other BIG news (no pun intended) is that the cast for voice actors has been announced for the film via directors Don Hall and Chris Williams30 Rock’s Scott Adsit will voice the cute marshmallow-cum-robot Baymax, and Hiro will be voiced by Ryan Potter (of the Nickelodeon show Supah Ninja’s).  Hiro’s Aunt (who is seen briefly in the trailer I think) is voiced by Maya Rudolph, and the rest of the ‘Big Hero 6′ is rounded out by T.J. Miller, Damon Wayans Jr., Jamie Chung, and Genesis RodriguezAlan Tudyk (everyone’s fan-favorite Wash from Firefly/Serenity) will voice tech guru Alistar Krei.

Big Hero 6 hits theaters January 30th, 2015.
